Greenbrier County 

Lesley J. Toliver is the Director of the Greenbrier County Family Support Center located in Rupert, WV. The GCFSC offers a food, hygiene, cleaning supply, clothing and baby item pantry. The center also assists families with termination notices for utilities. Additionally, the center also offers activities and support groups such a Play Group with Parents As Teachers, Hoops and Pizza, Youth Book Club, Family Paint Night, Parent's Night Out, Autism Support Group, Healthy Grandfamily Meetings and Lunch and Crafts. GCFSC also offers the Positive Action Parenting Curriculum. Lesley was drawn to working at GCFSC due to her experience as a social worker for over 20 years in a variety of programs. Lesley saw first-hand the needs and support that families require when raising their children. Drawing on the old adage "It takes a village to raise a child", Lesley wants to be a part of the families of Greenbrier County’s support systems. Lesley is originally from Monroe County, but she moved to Indiana with her family at the age of 11. Lesley moved back to West Virginia at age 27 and settled in Greenbrier County to start her family there. Lesley has a BA in Art Therapy from Brescia University in Owensboro, KY. Lesley believes Family is the most important thing. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and step-children and their families which includes several grandchildren, who are her pride and joy, and last but not least her cat Tovi.

Kyla Baker is the Program Assistant for Greenbrier County Family Support Center. Kyla is a native to Monroe County and currently resides there on a small hobby farm with two wonderful little girls. To relax after a long day, she spends her time fostering her love of nature in the garden. With a background in restaurant management, the passion of this new journey has been a breath of fresh air, providing new challenges and learning opportunities. Kyla's personal goal as a Program Assistant is to continue making meaningful contributions and connections within the community. Kyla is an extrovert and loves getting to know people from all walks of life.

During my two year service with the Meadow River Valley Association I had the opportunity to work with the Greenbrier Valley Family Support Center. I believe strongly in their mission and when my service ended I was thrilled to accept a part time position. I live in rural Greenbrier County on a small farm with 8 cats, 2 dogs, 3 sheep, and 1 donkey. When not working I am creating visual art and performance work.
