Mingo County 

Iris has served Mingo County for the past 45 years in various capacities. She spent years in administration with Mingo Christian School before taking on the role as Society Editor for the Williamson Daily News. She spent seven years with the newspaper before moving to a local law firm as a Legal Assistant. After spending seven years with the attorney’s office, she then took the position as Transfer Clerk with the Mingo County Assessor’s Office. After 14 years, she retired from the Mingo County Courthouse and took on the role as Co-Director of the Family Support Center. She is the Financial Clerk and longtime member of the Lighthouse Community Church. She is a dedicated wife of 46 years and has two grown children. She has five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and rescue Morkie. She enjoys spending time with her family, going camping, and finding new adventures.

Cody is the Co-Director of the Mingo Family Support Center and John Maxwell Certified Leadership Professional. He has held several leadership positions in a wide variety of spaces: education, recovery, religious & charity, and now family support, with the common thread in each space being - loving people. Jesus was the model servant-leader, and Cody strives to follow that example in every role, in every space, with as much excellence as possible. Cody is a native Mingo Countian. He considers Mingo to be a special place in the mountains and he longs to serve his community and help revitalize and strengthen it. In 2022, Cody, alongside his team, founded a non-profit religious charity with the intentions to serve the families of Southern WV and Eastern KY. Through that effort, he spearheaded the WellSpring Pregnancy and Family Resource Center which has been in operation for 2 years. Cody is newly married. He and his wife, Dusty, serve at their local church together (Regional Church of God) and serve in ministry through Catalyst Prayer Movement. Cody is excited about the future of the Family Support Center and the major impacts it has had and will continue to have in the Mingo County Community.
