Family Support Center
Located in Oceana, WV, the Wyoming County Family Support Center provides families with free resources and assistance for a better life, including - parenting and family classes, information about local resources and support services, pantries for food and hygiene items, and more. The FSC also hosts a number of family-centered events through the year, and performs outreach through school donations and sharing information with the community.

Liz Cochrane
Director
Liz Cochrane has been with the Wyoming County Family Support Center since it opened in 2011. She began in the role of Coordinator for the center, and became the Director in 2018. Liz is the SADD Advisor for the Baileysville School SADD Chapter, which was formed in 2021. As a Wyoming County SADD Advisor, Liz greatly contributed to the success of the program, which ultimately led to statewide recognition and several awards for the chapter - Rookie of the Year, Chapter of the Year, & Activity of the Year. Liz is incredibly active in her community and contributes in as many ways possible, including maintaining vegetable gardens at local schools, serving families through the FSC's pantries, educating the youth, and doing just about anything else her community needs....
